Hello my name is mariya:

= こんにちは私の名前はまりやです
= 안녕 내 이름은 마리야
= 你好,我叫瑪麗亞

How many strokes on a pencil is required to write this shit? How do Asian write essays by hand? Must be hell.

Even Persian is easier:
= سلام اسم من ماریا است

Indian languages
= हेल्लो मेरा नाम मरिया है
= ஹலோ என் பெயர் மரியா
harder than Persian or English but not as hard as east asian

all these languages look super aesthetic though.

Embarrassing.

I can only read konnichiwa watashi no (blank) wa Mariya desu.

I'm guessing the blank (the kanji) is supposed to be namae.

They look really cool but the print is so tiny compared to the latin letters that English uses. The size of our characters are so much bigger and easier to read.

This is what's discouraging me to read Japanese; how I'm going to have to strain so much to read the printed text.
